Coaching - Mentoring based on 'Leadership of the Heart'
"Leading into the Future" is a mentorship and coaching program that pairs emerging leaders with established professionals, focusing on heart-centred leadership. The program nurtures personal growth, collaboration, and the development of compassionate leadership skills for the next generation of changemakers.

WFWP Australia's "Leading into the Future" is a 6-month leadership initiative, running from June to December. It offers participants 1-on-1 mentoring-coaching and monthly online workshops, with experienced mentors-coaches volunteering their time and expertise to address the leadership gap among today’s professional women.

Mentorship is recognised as one of the most powerful strategies for closing the gender gap in leadership, driving women's empowerment and leadership development. Beyond boosting individual careers, it enables knowledge transfer across generations and professions, fosters an understanding of universal values, and cultivates essential "soft power" skills like peacebuilding and reconciliation that are crucial for today’s leaders.

WHY MENTORING / COACHING MATTERS ?
We are entering an era where the role of women as peace builders in all sectors is needed more than ever.
“It is well established that the economic empowerment of women isn't just good for women, it's good for everyone. Likewise, there is a growing body of evidence (including the latest report by McKinsey & Co) showing that when more women sit at the decision-making tables, better decisions are made.
Despite record numbers of women graduating college and entering the workforce, data still points to a 'leaky pipeline' - a large chasm between the number of women starting out on the professional track and how many advancing to senior positions. One of the many ways we can help to 'leak-proof' this pipeline is through mentoring.
